Čiju planetu trošimo i kome smo dužni vodu, vazduh i zemljište? Koliki je naš eko otisak i kojim navikama možemo da ga smanjimo?
Odgovorima na ova pitanja i odlukama za budućnost sa učenicima četvrtog i šestog razreda OŠ ‚‚Jovan Jovanović Zmaj‘‘ obeležili smo Međunarodni dan zaštite životne sredine u Narodnoj bašti u Pančevu. Radionice su bile deo programa manifestacije ‚‚Kultura i umetnost za spas zemljišta‘‘ koju su organizovali Gradska biblioteka Pančevo i Globalni pokret ‚‚Spasimo zemljište‘‘.
EKO OTISAK: koliko štete nanosimo planeti?
Sa učenicima šestog razreda i njihovom nastavnicom Draganom Tepić razgovarali smo o pojmu ekološkog otiska i načinima da svako od nas utiče na njegovo smanjenje. Ko su u kontekstu prirodnog kapitala zemlje kreditori a ko zemlje dužnici, šta je Dan ekološkog duga i zašto se svake godine sve više pomera prema početku godine, otkrili smo kroz niz primera iz svakodnevice.
Dok su nam đaci otkrivali ko jede salatu iz svog dvorišta a čiji roditelji ne zatvaraju slavinu kad peru zube, doneli smo zajedničku odluku da štedimo.

Gde je reč o kapitalu i dugu, tu je tema i štednja. Umesto novca, odlučili smo da uštedimo mnogo više: neko drvo, neko šumu, neko potok, neko parče neba.
U kasici oblika planete Zemlje sakupile su se brojne odluke za budućnost u kojoj svi želimo da što više ŠTEDIMO PLANETU: da smanjimo potrošnju vode dok se kupamo, da na trening idemo pešice, da ne ostavljamo smeće u prirodi, da posadimo drvo, da jedemo sezonsko voće…
RECIKLAŽA: Okraćale pantalone i tesna majica – taman za novu upotrebu
Na drugoj radionici prešli smo sa reči na dela.
Pošto smo pokazali kako se jedna majica brzo i jednostavno transformiše u ceger, učenici četvrtog razreda učiteljice Marije Stanojević pokušali su isto. Potom su pustili mašti na volju i uživali u procesu stvaranja: od starih pantalona nastajali su šortsevi, trake za glavu pa čak i grejači za noge. Majice su redizajnirali sečenjem, neobičnim vezivanjem i iscrtavanjem aplikacija.
Dok su uživali u traganju za novom upotrebom beskorisnih komada odeće i učili šta je reciklaža i ekologija, provukle su se u razgovoru i druge komplikovane reči čija smo značenja razotkrivali na radionici sa njihovim starijim drugarima.
Sa dela smo se opet vratili na reči i, zavirivši u unutrašnjost planete, pronašli smo brojne načine da štedimo prirodne resurse dok još nije kasno.
